Blade & Soul, NCSoft’s colorful martial arts MMO, brings you a new dungeon and two new raids with the major update “Origin of Darkness”. Additionally, the story of Act 7 continues, and there are fog stones to help reduce upgrade costs.

The current update “Origin of Darkness” is particularly generous with you, as you get two raids and a dungeon. Additionally, you can win fog stones that reduce your item upgrade costs.
Blade & Soul – Unveils the past of your enemies
With “Origin of Darkness”, the story of Act 7 continues. Chapters 12 and 13 are now online, and after completing the related quests, you will learn many details about the past of well-known villains from the ongoing story of Blade & Soul. Afterwards, you can occupy yourself with the titular cult in the heroic dungeon “Stronghold of the Dark Dragons” and give them a good beating.
If dungeons are too easy for you, dive into the new raids. There are two of them in “Origin of Darkness”. For fans of the story from the “Automaton Factory”, the plot continues in the Fortress of the Usurper. As a reward, there’s a new mech-style costume – even for cats!
The second raid takes you to the Temple of Winds, where you encounter the spirit of Asura. The spirit has been split into a fire and ice part, making things twice as hot for you. Here, there is also a set of new costumes in the “Magic-Look”.
PvP Event and Changes to Dailies
Until September 13, 2017, you can win medals and hero chests in PvP (Duel and Tag Team mode). Additionally, you can buy fog stones with the medals to reduce your equipment upgrade costs.
Furthermore, in the future, you only need to complete 3 daily challenges, and older dungeons have been removed from the challenge rotation and replaced with newer instances.
