NCSoft’s colorful Kung-Fu MMO Blade & Soul is currently celebrating its first birthday in the West. As a reward, you will receive various gifts, including an exclusive costume! Additionally, a large festive event is taking place, where you will receive special quests and rewards.
In Korea, Blade & Soul may already be an old hand, but here it is only a year old. And as is proper for such anniversaries, the game offers you a lot of gifts. You just have to log in, and the stuff will be sent to you.
Among those gifts is a special costume named “Alice,” designed by the community as part of a competition. Additionally, there are useful talismans, keys, accessories, fireworks, and a cake that grants you the title “Trailblazer” upon consumption.
Celebration in the Dungeon!
In addition to the free rewards, there is a new event for the anniversary of Blade & Soul. From January 18 to February 8, you can collect special anniversary coins from daily quests, heroic Silverfrost dungeons, and the new dailies “One Year, Countless Adventures.” These can be exchanged for useful items such as gems or another exclusive costume. This makes the daily dungeon and daily grind twice as much fun!
The anniversary update brings not only new quests and rewards. You can now finally (finally!) remove and redistribute your weapon skins. Previously, they were irreversibly destroyed, but now, after a year, recycling is finally possible! Additionally, you can also style and customize your companions with the update.
