In the Beta of Black Ops 6, you will be able to play various maps and modes to get a feel for the multiplayer. We show you in this brief overview what to expect this weekend.
How many maps are there in the beta? In total, you can expect eight new maps during the first beta weekend. Three of them are strike maps while five belong to the core playlist. These maps include:

- Babylon
- Derelict
- Scud
- Skyline
- Rewind
- Strike Maps
- Pit
- Gala
- Stakeout
How many modes are there in the beta? As for modes, you will be able to enjoy 5 familiar modes from past CoD titles and one new mode. These include:
- Team Deathmatch
- Domination
- Hardpoint
- Kill Order (NEW)
- Face Off Team Deathmatch
- Face Off Kill Confirmed
Some modes and maps are missing, why? Activision announced in its blog post for the beta launch that more maps and modes will be unlocked over the upcoming beta days. This way, you will always have fresh content throughout the days.

Black Ops 6 Beta: Overview of all maps
We will now show you a small overview of each map and describe how they are set up.
Babylon
You fight your way through the ruins of Babylon. Ancient setting with palms.
Derelict
An elongated map in a train graveyard in Appalachia. Very winding map with various spots to hide or camp.
Scud
You spawn in a destroyed military base. An open map with good sniper spots.
Skyline
You find yourself in a penthouse with various options to plan an assault. It feels symmetrical and also has a secret panic room.
Rewind
In Rewind, you spawn in Liberty Falls at a shopping plaza. There is a large center in the middle and open terrain to move around.
Pit
In Pit, you find yourself in mine shafts. Narrow tunnels and little light create tension in heated battles.
Gala
Gala takes you to a large government building where donations were collected. Large rooms, but no fresh air.
Stakeout
In Stakeout, you will be able to fight through different apartments of a large building complex. If the kitchens, bedrooms, or living rooms are not enough for you, you can also retreat to the balconies.
