Who is the final boss of chapter 1? The final boss of chapter 1 is the Black Bear Guai, a giant black bear that wields the power of fire. He has not only set the arena ablaze but can also engulf you in flames with his paws. With his abilities, he is extremely dangerous, but with a secret item, you can simplify the fight.
What secret item is referred to? This is the Fireproof Cloak – a vessel that you can use in battle. As the name suggests, it is fireproof and grants you temporary immunity against burns. With this item, you cannot suffer fire damage or receive the status effect “burn”.
With the item, you have the perfect opportunity to counter the bear’s biggest source of damage, allowing you to move more freely through the arena and inflict damage on him. However, the cloak is tied to a secret.

Where can I find the item? To find the Fireproof Cloak, you need to ring three large bells in the Black Wind Mountain, which are spread across the map. All bells are guarded by bosses or are located near them. You should visit the following places:
- First bell: You will find it in the arena of the boss “Guangzhi” at the location “Outside the Forest” in the Wolf Forest.
- Second bell: You will find it in the arena of the boss “Guangmou” at the location “Snake Path” in the Bamboo Grove.
- Third bell: You will find it near the boss “White Robed Noble” at the location “Swamp of the White Mist” in the Bamboo Grove – stay in the arena on the left side until you spot a pack of wolves. There you will find the last bell.
After ringing the last bell, you will be teleported to the location “Old Guanyin Temple”. Defeat the secret boss there to teleport back. You can now interact with the hanging corpse in the area of the third bell. It will give you the Fireproof Cloak.
