How difficult is Black Myth Wukong? Actually not as hard as everyone would assume. I have played games and expansions from Dark Souls to Elden Ring and compared those difficulty levels to that of Black Myth Wukong.
My conclusion: The game is very generous to newcomers and easier compared to Elden Ring. In battles, enemies and bosses have large windows of time that even slow down, so you know exactly when you need to dodge. Additionally, you have a large stamina bar and many spells that help you dodge often enough or even freeze enemies.
For those wondering whether dying in Black Myth Wukong has consequences, we can reassure you. As mentioned in our beginner tips, you can die or lose as often as you want – your souls and resources remain safe.
The game tries to make it clear to fans during the journey that exploration and enjoyment of the game are paramount. You shouldn’t angrily close the game because a boss holds you up for several hours. However, Black Myth Wukong is not a walk in the park.
