Even Black Desert is haunted by dark creatures in October. A short video prepares players for the upcoming event “Halloween Escapades”.
Black Desert often and happily celebrates with players. Among the festivities are Saint Patrick’s Day, Christmas, and Halloween. Last year, there was a heavily Alice in Wonderland-inspired event. This year, you will be haunted by a ghost.
What does the trailer show? In the middle of a spooky forest, you can catch a glimpse of a creepy villa. Inside, you see the event boss “Haunt” causing trouble. Haunt wears the mask of a plague doctor and appears regularly near your character during the event to challenge you.
During the event, various activities can be carried out:
- The event boss Haunt can be defeated and drops, among other things, black fabric. This fabric can be exchanged with the merchants Merv, Ornella, and Mevo Muranan for craftable costumes.
- The black witch Isabella will appear as a world boss at fixed times this year.
- Various event quests during the Halloween Escapades reward you for completing event-specific tasks.
These are the game rewards: In this event, there are rewards again when you have spent a certain amount of time in the game. After one hour, you will receive 5 Halloween coins, which you can exchange with Mael Costa for Cron stones and fine accessory boxes, among other things.
If you play for two hours, there will be Halloween candies, and after three hours, Halloween cookies. These two items can be combined in your inventory to receive a Halloween gift box.
When does the event start? The Halloween Escapades run from 17.10 to 07.11.2018.
