Everything is new in Black Desert. Music and graphics are set to be remastered. An orchestra in Halle is recording music for the MMORPG.
Black Desert has big plans for the future. A release for Xbox One and later for PlayStation 4 is planned. Additionally, a major “remastering” has been announced. Currently, Black Desert features outstanding visuals, and the developer Pearl Abyss wants to ensure that it remains.
The attention of fans has particularly focused on making Black Desert even more beautiful. The graphics of the MMORPG are being enhanced in collaboration with Silicon Studio.
New music for Black Desert comes from Prague, Budapest, Halle
But Black Desert also wants to improve acoustically: The music will be “remastered” and newly recorded. To this end, Black Desert is collaborating with orchestras in the Czech Republic (Prague), Hungary (Budapest), and Germany (Halle).
Pearl Abyss has released a recording of the Staatskapelle Halle recording 30 seconds of music from Black Desert. The symphony orchestra in Halle is considered one of the largest orchestras in Germany, with about 150 musicians.

The goal of the acoustic remastering is to record new music for 40 of the 240 regions of Black Desert. A Korean composer, who has composed music for two “rhythm games”, is responsible for the process: MD Ryu.
He states that they want to provide the players of Black Desert Online with the best music. The music is intended to help players fully immerse themselves in the world. The big term here is “immersion”, the merging with the fictional world. The world of Black Desert spans from a small village to a vast ocean.
It is assumed that the process of bringing the new music experience into the game can be completed by early 2018. Together with the graphic overhaul, this should elevate Black Desert to a new level.
