In Black Desert Online finally the Valkyrie receives her long-awaited awakening weapon. She retains her shield, but replaces the sword with a long-reaching spear!
More and more heroes in Black Desert Online have now awakened, and the Valkyrie finally gets her awakening weapon. The tank fighter receives a huge spear instead of her small sword, the so-called “Lancia”.
Pieck, Pieck!
The Lancia is a gigantic spear that is much larger than the Valkyrie herself. With it, she can deal powerful thrusts and has an unequaled higher range. This allows the Valkyrie to wound enemies from a distance while still having her shield to block damage. Her tank capabilities should remain intact.
Furthermore, developer Kakao Games is starting a photo contest for a special Black Desert Online calendar. Every player is encouraged to submit three pictures from each of the four seasons. The developers will select five screenshots per month, and the community will vote for the respective winner. The deadline for submissions is November 20, and there are great prizes, including real money currency and titles. You can find the exact participation conditions under the source reference.
