Mounts are particularly important in Black Desert Online, because only when your creature can carry enough can you effectively trade and explore the vast world of the sandbox MMO. So far you have relied on horses, camels and the good old donkey, but with a little effort, a cute and extremely resilient mini elephant is soon in sight!

Black Desert Online – How to get the mini elephant (baby elephant)!
The mini elephant is an expensive treat for high-level and well-equipped players. You must be at least level 55, ideally level 56. Go to Valencia and accept the quest for it. You should also have 35 million silver with you, as that’s how much the elephant will cost you in the end.
Once you have the Valencia quest, go to Shakatu’s Villa at the other end of Valencia. You can either cross the desert or take the safer route around it if you have enough time and a fast horse. In Shakatu’s Villa, you will get the entrance pass for 7 days and talk to an NPC in the villa who will guide you to Shakatu. There, you will donate a large sum of money and receive the elephant quest.
Black Desert Online – Water for the elephant
The rest is a rough grind, but what wouldn’t one do for their own elephant! First, you need to get water for the big guy. You can find this with an NPC who also sells you the bottles for it. Make sure to have enough energy and gather 20 water bottles.
Once you have the water, you’ll need to grind some more, as the elephant demands weeds as food. You can find the herbs around the villa, but it might take some time to collect 100 of them. Once you have fed and watered the elephant, you will go to a mount dealer who will issue you the coveted elephant “license.” Then you have finally succeeded and the elephant is yours!
Black Desert Online – Mini elephant – Here’s why he’s so good!
The elephant is definitely worth all the effort. He looks pretty cool and has impressive stats. Even as a fresh level 1 Fant, he can carry 16 items and has a load capacity of 830. At maximum level 15, the big guy can carry 1,200 kilos and reaches 10% top speed. The donkey can’t compete!
