Black Desert Online receives a new class just over a year after release. Also known as Dark Knight, the Dark Elf. But how does the dark elf play? Our YouTube colleague Refaser has captured everything in a video.
In Black Desert Online, there is already a considerable selection of classes. From the delicate Elf Ranger to the sturdy Warrior and the gigantic Berserker, there’s already a lot on offer. Later, the sword-swinging Samurai classes of Musa and Maehwa and the sneaky Ninjas and Kunoichi were added.
Black Desert Online – Sexy Dark Elf
The year 2016 offered a lot of content for Black Desert Online. This is not expected to change in 2017, and soon there will be a new class with the Dark Elf (Dark Knight). She is a graceful warrior from the eponymous people of the Dark Elves. These dark pointed ears originate from the region of Kamasilve and fight with a black curved saber called “Scimitar.”
The Dark Elf is only lightly armored and thus shows a lot of bright elf skin. However, she is as quick and agile as the Black Mage, and her gameplay also somewhat resembles that of the similarly dark Mage. As you can see in Refaser’s video, she zooms across the battlefield, beating enemies with her blows or fighting them from a distance with magic.
The Dark Elf is still sleeping
In the Korean version of Black Desert Online, the Dark Elf has already awakened and received her awakening weapon. It consists of a bunch of flying purple daggers and swords that provide the elf with even more brutal area damage and also trigger life drain. However, in the upcoming Western version, the elf is still asleep and has to rely on her Scimitar.
After the release of the Dark Elf, her homeland Kamasilve will also come into the game as a new region. The already huge world of Black Desert Online will therefore get even bigger! Additionally, the Dark Elf is expected to receive a different name in the German version.
What will not change: Dark Elves are always female, the infamous gender lock of BDO strikes again.
