In the Korean sandbox MMORPG Black Desert, a new class called the Valkyrie is introduced. In an official trailer, her gameplay is now presented by publisher Daum.
The Valkyrie is set to be newly added to the hero selection of Black Desert this week. In the gameplay trailer, we see the fair maiden in action. The soundscape resembles a bit of women’s tennis, reminiscent of the time of Monica Seles:
The Valkyrie is supposed to be a warrior tank, while also taking on healing and support functions, similar to what paladins do in other games. Graphically, this is adapted, giving her primarily bright, white light effects. Black Desert implements gender lock, so the Valkyrie can only be played as a female.
