In the Fantasy MMORPG Black Desert , the first major patch is coming tomorrow, March 30.
Mediah, the fourth continent, will be coming to Black Desert tomorrow. Daum surprisingly announced this – it had been “a little” expected, but that they would really add so much content relatively early was not necessarily anticipated. Black Desert has been on the market for a while in its home market “Korea”, but only launched here in the West this month.
The maintenance to bring Mediah will start on Wednesday, March 30, at 10:00 AM and is expected to last until 3 PM. An extension of the maintenance is possible.
The “Mediah Patch” will expand the world by 30%, bring over 1000 new quests, introduce a nasty boss called Kzarka, and provide many new weapons and gear. Guild missions are supposed to come, a 40 versus 40 player battlefield, craftable alchemist stones, and equipment should be able to be upgraded to higher levels.
As dualshockers knows, the patch also included “Blader and Plum”, two sword-fighting classes that are still missing in our version. Nothing is currently known about their fate. But perhaps Black Desert will surprise us.
Patch does not bring new classes
Update: There is new information, dualshockers has spoken with Daum. With “Mediah”, there will be NO new classes. However, more classes are expected to come “very soon”.
It is still unclear which classes will come next. Besides Plum and Blader, which were released first in Korea, the duo Ninja and Kunoichi are still missing. It is already known that Daum does not necessarily want to adhere to the original order in which the classes were released for the West version.
