For the 8th anniversary of the MMORPG Black Desert Online, the developers have now released a short video full of memories, mainly to celebrate the players themselves.
Black Desert Online is known as the game that has primarily established action MMORPGs from Asia on consoles. Since its console release 5 years ago, many MMORPGs from Asia have followed suit and been released on PlayStation and Xbox, or plan to do so in the future.
Black Desert Online itself is now celebrating its 8th anniversary and looking back on many memories.
How do the developers celebrate their history? Currently, the South Korean developers are celebrating the eighth anniversary of their MMORPG Black Desert Online. They likely also celebrate the 2 billion euros they have earned through the game over the past years.
In a video, however, they primarily want to thank their players and the community. “Let us look back on the journey we have had,” it says at the beginning of the short video. Following this are some memories that focus mainly on the shared moments of the players:
What does the video reflect on? In the video, the developers celebrate some moments that the players experienced as a community in the MMORPG. They look back on various events and minigames, such as a rowboat race, a cart race, or a musical chairs game.
In addition to a look back at the various outfits in which players experienced their adventures, there is also a remembrance of the concerts held together by the game masters and players. In the video, you will see pictures and small sequences related to these memories.
Screenshots, fan art, and streams from the players are also shared in the video, and even players who have cooked the food from Black Desert Online in real life are given attention here.
The video clearly shows that after these eight years, the developers not only see themselves and their success but seem truly happy about their community.
