The Korean version of Black Desert has been expanded with the new life skill stat “Life Skill Mastery.” It grants players better rewards when crafting. We explain how it works.
In Black Desert, players can improve nine different life skills by performing the associated actions. If you catch a lot of fish, your level in the life skill fishing increases as well. Players who frequently use life skills are likely to appreciate the new stat “Life Skills Mastery.” Currently, “Life Skill Mastery” only affects the life skill processing.
Become even more efficient with a high Life Skill Mastery
This is how it was before: Players in Korea could craft a Manos Processing Stone. This increased the number of items players could process at the same time. As a result, players could carry out the life skill faster, producing more in the same amount of time than players without the Manos Processing Stone.
This is how it is now: Because “Life Skill Mastery” now influences the number of materials you can process simultaneously, Manos Processing Stones no longer increase the number of processable materials. Instead, they increase your “Life Skill Mastery” by a value of 300 to 400. From the table, you can see how many materials you can process simultaneously when you reach a specific value.

Benefits: You can process larger quantities of raw materials.
Special equipment for crafting
New crafting clothes. The new crafting equipment Magical Manos Craft Clothes is essential if you want to reach the higher levels of “Life Skill Mastery.” Your mastery level is determined by the Manos Processing Stone, your level in the life skill, and the new crafting equipment.

Depending on which materials you process, you will need a specific type of equipment. There are six types in the game: Sea, Vitality, Energy, Sun, Wind, and Lava. For example, Energy type clothes increase your ability to process wood.
In addition to the clothes, you can also craft Manos accessories. These increase your mastery in all areas of processing.

This is how you find Scorched Shards and Sunset-laden Wool
Check in with Lara. You can obtain the new resources Scorched Shards and Sunset-laden Wool through a daily quest.
Talk to Lara in the city of Heidel. Your task is to produce Sweet Potato Dough 100 times. The task includes the cooking process and the result. You need to freshly make the sweet potato dough and hand it over.

You can plant and harvest sweet potatoes. The dough consists of the raw materials mineral water and sweet potato flour, which must be mixed by shaking.
When you exchange your cooking result, you can choose either Scorched Shards or Sunset-laden Wool. If you don’t want to make sweet potato dough, you can also trade the two new raw materials for cooking seals for Sunset-laden Wool and alchemy seals for Scorched Shards.
