As part of the weekly update, some changes have been made to Black Desert. However, one adjustment stands out in particular. Players can now carry more silver.
Players in Black Desert are dependent on their weight capacity when carrying items. Due to the change in the maximum weight of the currency silver, players can now carry more money or items.
Strong players can carry more
That’s why weight is important: Those who want to organize their inventory in Black Desert must keep track of both the inventory slots and the weight of individual items. Once the carried items exceed a certain value, various restrictions affect the character.
Inventory management is cumbersome: While the weight you carry can be trained by having your character carry trade items around, thus increasing their strength, beyond a certain strength value, the maximum weight capacity only increases slowly.
In addition to training weight capacity with trade items, there are other ways to increase carrying capacity:
- Certain belts increase carrying capacity
- There are items in the Pearl Shop that increase weight capacity
- The pet Polar Bear passively increases carrying capacity. You can obtain the Polar Bear after buying a starter package and then giving the code to a friend. Once they reach level 30, you can choose between 1000 pearls or the icy pet.
Silver now weighs only half as much
Increased carrying capacity for all: For all these ways, you need to take action. They either cost real money in the form of pearls or you need to acquire certain items. However, the reduction of the currency silver’s weight to half of its original value benefits all players, especially allowing new players to carry more in the future.
This also means that the storage maid can now carry 1 million silver instead of 500,000. The storage maid can be placed in your own residence and used as a storage location.
What fans think: Fans are reacting quite positively to the reduction of silver weight. Along with the weight reduction of gold bars, an alternative way to store silver, it has become easier for players to manage their inventory.
Finally, there have been issues with private servers in Black Desert. Black Desert mimics WoW and takes action against private servers.
