In Black Desert there are first images of the new Dark Elf class, while in Europe the schedule seems to have become a bit mixed up.
Black Desert Japan recently released the first concept art for the Dark Elf from Black Desert. This will be the next class – this has been known for some time. It will be part of a major update coming to South Korea. The update will be called “Kamalsive.”

Originally, the Dark Elves – as it was said in spring – were supposed to come to Korea in summer. In September, the developers corrected that to “the end of the year.” The schedule seems to have gotten a bit mixed up.
We might receive the Margoria update in the West soon
Here in the West, we should be prepared for “Margoria” next. It was already presented at Gamescom. Margoria actually arrived in South Korea in July and significantly enhanced everything related to the sea.
There are already current rumors that we in Europe will soon deal with “Margoria” as well. Officially, it was stated a month ago that it would be “in winter.” That is a surprisingly late date given the rapid pace initially set for Black Desert.
At the moment, Kakao’s EU team is still dealing with the server merger for Black Desert – it may be that this is why much has shifted somewhat.
When the Dark Elf is finished in Korea, attention will turn to a new region and the race “Dwarves.” But that is still a long way off. In Black Desert, classes are racelocked, so anyone wanting to play a Giant is limited to the “Giant” class and cannot play a “Giant Warrior,” as Warriors can only be Humans – Giants resemble what Berserkers are in other games.
At the beginning of the year, content was rushing out here in Europe. In the last few months, it has come to somewhat of a standstill – only the Awakenings for the classes are coming regularly.
But one can wait a little longer for a pretty woman, right?
