In Black Desert , there was an April Fools’ joke at Blizzard’s expense.
On April 1st, Daum announced that with the latest expansion Mediah, a victory pose will be introduced in the new battlefield that came with the Mediah expansion. This special “Butt Pose Victory Animation” will have the victorious hero strike a pose that emphasizes their backside. This will be available for every class, regardless of gender.
This is clearly a reference to the “mini-scandal” surrounding Overwatch. Blizzard had responded to fan protests and removed a “too provocative” pose of the heroine Tracer. She was showcasing her backside in an outfit that now closely resembles a Black Desert character.
It’s also likely an action to draw attention to the Mediah expansion .
