In Black Desert, there is a first look at the Awakening weapons of Musa and Berserker. We have images and a video for you.
The Musa receives a Burning Halberd
While in the West, the two classes Musa and Maewha have just been released, the Asian region is already much further ahead. There, the Musa, better known as Blader, will soon receive his Awakening weapon. These weapons are being gradually implemented for all classes and significantly change the gameplay experience of the respective character, as they receive new abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. You can see what the Burning Halberd, the Awakening weapon of the Musa, looks like in action in this trailer.
A Preview of the Berserker’s Weapon
When looking towards Japan, they are also a bit further ahead. There, Black Desert is celebrating its first birthday under the local publisher Game On. They are already offering a small glimpse into the future of the game, as the Awakening weapon of the Berserker has been shown in some screenshots. The big guy receives a hand cannon that allows him to deal significant damage to enemies at medium range. In Korea, they introduced the “Iron Man” at the end of 2015.
Also in Japan, the appearance of the Maewha is being slightly adjusted – it is now supposed to look a bit more feminine than before. Cuteness holds a high value in Japan, even though the changes are not that drastic.
When the Awakening weapons will also come to us in the West is still uncertain. Daum has not made any concrete statements about this yet. It is mentioned that “around June” is possible, but it will likely be a longer process.
