In Black Desert, the new Awakening weapons of the Maewha are being showcased.
In Korea, Black Desert has developed significantly further than it has in the West. The big feature that they already have, but we do not yet, is the “Awakening Weapons.” Individual classes receive an alternative weapon relatively late in their development, along with a different play style. This is a significant change in gameplay, a so-called game-changer.
One of the classes still waiting for its Awakening weapon is the Maewha, previously known as Plum or female Blader. What their Awakening weapon looks like is shown in this video:
The update is set to be deployed in Korea later this week. At the very end of the video, there is also a glimpse of the Ninja. This is one of the two classes that are still completely missing in Europe. The video shows its Awakening form. It is said to be able to wield multiple swords at once, like a classic Asian swordsman.
We should receive Ninja and Kunoichi, the last 2 classes, in the coming months. The Awakening system should not take long to arrive either.
