A well-known German streaming duo aims to enhance a strong card for EA FC 25, but they make a significant mistake. The faux pas of the content creator shows how costly a feature in Ultimate Team can be if one is not careful.
What kind of streamer is this? Simon Bechtold and Timo Schulz form the streaming duo Tisi Schubech. The two content creators for EA FC 25 are among the largest German streamers in their field.
In a joint stream with Simon “GamerBrother” Schildgen on Saturday, September 21, Simon Bechtold and GamerBrother sat together before the screens, opened packs, and looked at the new evolutions (EVOs) in Ultimate Team in the menu.
The evolutions are a feature that allows players to upgrade their cards. In a casual chat, both tried out possible options for the existing evolutions. For 35,000 coins or 400 FC Points, the “Prima Lila” evolution offers a purple shimmer for the card of your choice.
Which strong card does Tisi Schubech want to enhance? Simon from Tisi Schubech chooses the Icon Mia Hamm, promptly selecting one of the strongest cards in Ultimate Team for the EVO. The Englishwoman, with her 93 rating and a market value of over 5 million coins, is among the absolute elite.

Tisi Schubech pays 5 million instead of 35,000 coins for an EVO
After a brief moment of contemplation, Simon from Tisi Schubech activates the evolution for Mia Hamm. He is so impressed by the new design of the card that he seems unaware of the consequences of his actions.
Cards selected for evolutions are irrevocably transformed into untradeable items upon activation, meaning they can no longer be sold on the transfer market and thus lose their market value.
How does Tisi Schubech lose several thousand euros? In the case of the Mia Hamm card, activating the EVO results in a whopping loss of 5 million coins. Tisi Schubech had purchased the Icon for 3.2 million coins.
In order to spend that many coins, the streaming duo had been opening many packs daily for several hours since the early access of FC 25 and has likely invested several thousand euros in such packs by now. Streamer has brief hope, receives more ridicule and mockery
Shortly after the EVO process is completed, Simon from Tisi Schubech realizes what he has done and tries to hide his shocked face first behind his hands and then behind his chair.
How do his streaming colleagues react? GamerBrother can hardly believe his eyes when he sees what his namesake from Tisi Schubech has done. Right after the faux pas, GamerBrother repeatedly tells Simon how dumb he was and asks him what he was thinking.
Tisi’s colleague Timo, who is just preparing dinner, comes over a few seconds later and joins in the ridicule and mockery of his partner. He keeps saying that his colleague is the “dumbest person” because such things would often happen to him too.
This is why Simon from Tisi Schubech has brief hope: When he wants to verify whether his Icon is really worthless now, he is initially pleased that the card can apparently still be sold on the transfer market.
However, the emotional high is short-lived. It turns out that this is just a display error, and the card can no longer be sold.
