Fresh updates from the developers give Beyond Good and Evil 2 a boost. How is the development of the game progressing?
Normally, developers do not discuss their development plans in detail with fans this early, but Beyond Good and Evil 2 wants to approach this differently. In an initial livestream, the “Space Monkey Report,” the developers talked extensively about the feedback they have received from fans and how it motivates them to fulfill the wishes of the players.
The stream provided a wealth of small information about how designers and developers work and where they source information to realistically portray the hybrids in the game and connect to the first part of Beyond Good and Evil, which is now 15 years old.

The current focus is on community feedback, which has rapidly developed after the game was announced at E3. Fans are repeatedly asked about their ideas regarding various aspects of the game, and the developers aim to implement these ideas.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 will take a long time to arrive
However, all interested parties should keep in mind that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in the conceptual phase of development. Even though the trailers and sequences may look like the game is in an advanced state, many features are not yet set in stone.
The developers want to combine many genres and offer “space piracy” with online features and an extensive single-player campaign with numerous choices. Whether this dream can come true will surely be revealed in the coming months.
There is still no release date for Beyond Good and Evil 2. However, fans anticipate a development period of at least two more years.
