Razer Ornata Chroma
Semi-mechanical keyboard: The model from Razer uses self-developed Mecha-Membrane keys that are supposed to combine a soft pressure point with a rubber dome and the defined, tactile click of a mechanical key. This, according to the manufacturer, ensures a high actuation speed with the semi-high keycaps.
Further features:
- With the “Razer Synapse” software, buttons can be reassigned and macros programmed, and the profile configurations can be saved in the cloud.
- Also through the tool, the background lighting can be set with 16.8 million individual color options.
- In addition to a function key for secondarily assigned keys, anti-ghosting (10-key rollover in gaming mode) is also included.
Who is the keyboard suitable for? The Razer Ornata Chroma is aimed at ambitious players as a mid-range model, who desire extended functionalities compared to a conventional keyboard.
It should be noted that it does not provide dedicated extra keys for macros and such, and that here, one must make do with reassigning existing keys or secondary assignments via the FN key.

- Through the rubber dome technology designed for 20 million keystrokes, the keyboard is intended to operate as quietly as possible with a pleasant and muted noise.
- The optionally switchable lighting is static. There are no customizable special keys or software.
- Anti-ghosting is supported with six keys.
- The manufacturer advertises not only water resistance but also a five-year warranty and responses to support questions within 48 hours.
Who is the keyboard suitable for? As a budget model, the KLIM Chroma is aimed at cost-conscious players who do not see an advantage in mechanical keyboards and desire a backlit keyboard in an otherwise simple design without extraordinary additional features.

Fully mechanical keyboard: The Blue switches from Outemu in the Aukey KM-G6 are designed to withstand 50 million keystrokes with their high and concave keycaps. With an actuation force of 60 grams, they are supposed to be as easy to use as red or brown switches. Being a replica of the Cherry MX Blue, they are also compatible with keycaps from corresponding models.

- The six-color backlighting includes eight pre-set profiles and allows for an individual profile using the FN key.
- Due to the lack of software, no custom macros or remappings can be defined easily via third-party tools.
- Anti-ghosting is supported for all 105 keys (N-Key Rollover).
- The manufacturer advertises water resistance, whereby holes on the underside are intended to allow liquids to drain.
Who is the keyboard suitable for? The Aukey KM-G6 is aimed at players looking for an affordable entry into the world of mechanical keyboards with a simple design and can do without macros.
