Neverwinter is a Free To Play fantasy MMO that impresses with its high-quality graphics and some very innovative ideas. Neverwinter takes place in the city of Neverwinter, known from the classic role-playing games Neverwinter Nights and Neverwinter Nights 2, and is roughly based on the rules of the pen & paper role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons.

However, you need not worry about dealing with the many intricacies of character creation that the pen & paper original is known for. The gameplay is oriented towards other classic MMOs.

The standout feature of Neverwinter is the Foundry. This is a comprehensive toolkit that allows players to create their own adventures and quests and share them with other players. This ensures a constant flow of new content. A new playthrough with a new character can therefore include completely new quests.
