The host of the children’s show Art Attack, Benedikt Weber, is now going on YouTube to prove that he can craft.
Who is it about? It is about the host Benedikt Weber. He hosted the show Art Attack from 1998 to 2007, where he presented things to craft along. Simple household items were always used, things that almost every child should have at home.
Years after the show was canceled, fans discovered something: The hands seen in the crafting clips were not Benedikt Weber’s. Instead, they belonged to the host of the British original version, Neil Buchanan. The clips were only dubbed in German. However, Benedikt Weber himself did not craft anything.
From then on, Benedikt Weber was “accused” on social media of not being able to craft at all. This is something the host now wants to address with his own YouTube channel.
Maybe Beni Weber will soon become as good a YouTuber as HandOfBlood:
Host must prove his crafting skills
What content does Beni Weber create? On his YouTube channel “Beniversum”, the host seems to want to start uploading content. In his latest YouTube video, he says he knew he had to prove his crafting skills, especially when he had someone beside him at the traffic light shouting, “Those weren’t your hands!”.
In his seemingly new YouTube show “Beni crafts – this time with his own hands”, the host is crafting the “Art Attack” dream castle. The community had previously requested this from him, and he had announced the project in a TikTok. Included: The famous white crafting glue.
In the video, Benedikt also reveals why he didn’t craft himself back then: “It would have taken way too long. The show would have had to be about eight hours long otherwise.” (Source: YouTube).
