Brief news for a game that is about short enjoyment. The arena brawler Battlerite has a release date for Xbox One – well, at least a release window. This was announced at E3 2017 in Los Angeles and has just reached us through a press release.
Release of Battlerite for 2018 on Xbox One planned
Battlerite is set to be released for Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2018. The game is supposed to be available through Xbox Play Anywhere.

The developers, Stunlock Studios, say this is their first console title for Xbox One. They are confident that Battlerite will usher in a new era of arena brawlers for consoles.

The game draws inspiration from the arenas of WoW, Overwatch, and League of Legends. It focuses on “top-down” action and intense team fights.
Competitive play is the focus of Battlerite. The game was released on PC in September 2016 and is still in an “Early Access phase”, although a release is expected for 2017.
