Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale is finally here and the new Battle Pass looks promising. Check out what you can unlock in the coming weeks.
New season, new Battle Pass: As usual, there will be a Battle Pass in Fortnite: Battle Royale. A first teaser video gives a nice preview of what’s included in the pass.
Cowgirls, Llamas, Little Red Riding Hood and the Werewolf
What’s included in the new Battle Pass? According to the teaser, we already know the following information about the pass from Season 6:
There are 7 skins:
- The first two skins are immediately available to all purchasers: They are the Llama DJ “DJ Yonder” and the Cowgirl “Calamity”. She is the first female “Story Skin” and is customizable
- The final level 100 skin is the Werewolf “Wolf”. He is also customizable and transforms between human and werewolf form
- In between, there are 4 more skins to be found:
- Nightshade: A female character with a Tomato Head in a “Pumpkin Head” style
- Darkness: A kind of vampire with pale skin and red eyes
- Little Red Riding Hood: A daring version of Little Red Riding Hood
- Fully Mounted: A no-skin type wearing a llama costume
- There are pets: The new pets are dynamic back bling that react to the game environment. They growl when you fight or howl triumphantly when you achieve a success
- There’s a new toy: A tomato-throwing item, also known as the epic tomato
- There are new dances: The Flamenco and the strange “Tentacle Dance”
- There’s music: You can now unlock music tracks and play them in the menu.
- New gliders: The gliders are particularly out there. Among them are a flying wagon and a swarm of bats.
- More odds and ends: There are also plenty of new back bling, (fall) animations, sprays, and emojis
Curious detail: For the first time in Season 6, there are more female than male skins.
What else is in the pass? Those who purchase the pass can unlock additional challenges for the skins Calamity and Wolf and customize these skins further. Additionally, you can participate in the new challenge series “Hunting Parties” to earn new title screens and a bonus skin.
How much does the Battle Pass for Season 6 cost? As usual, the pass remains at 950 V-Bucks. That’s about 9.50 Euros. Epic has not changed the price so far. Those who do not purchase the pass can also level up in the free version and unlock some rewards.
Additionally, only 3 of the 7 weekly tasks will be available to you. However, the full program is only available with the premium version.
Can you buy the pass later? Yes. Additionally, you will receive all the levels and premium achievements collected so far. So theoretically, you could buy the pass on the last day and still benefit from it.
