Outsmarted: Lando in Star Wars Battlefront is no longer overpowered. His abilities now finally have a cooldown.
Anyone who has spent their free time in Star Wars: Battlefront in recent weeks and months will have been sent back to the respawn point by Lando more than once. Due to a bug, it was possible for the good gentleman to fire his Power Blast at a second’s interval. Because the ability had no cooldown. Thus, Lando was able to plow through enemy masses for six weeks even without tactical skill and achieve victory (almost) single-handedly.
The last DLC Scarif was mainly responsible for this, which also heralds the end of Battlefront – the successor is already set to appear at the end of the year.
The patch, however, has fixed numerous other errors. On the Walker Assault maps of Scarif, only two communication stations should now be visible at the same time – previously, three could be seen, which led to unfair situations.
Heroes are now generally somewhat more resistant to stuns, so “Stun-Chaining” is no longer possible. After a stun wears off, the hero is immune to further stuns for 2 seconds. However, some “hero stuns” like Force Push or Force Choke are exempt from this change.
The download of the update is between 2 GB and 3 GB, so anyone who wants to play in the evening should initiate the patch process early.

Battlefront 2 is looking to pick up a few tricks from Battlefield – but not too many.
