Battlefield 6 will launch just a few days after the release in Season 1, and the roadmap reveals what new content the shooter will receive.
What happens after the release? Season 1 of Battlefield 6 will start on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, on all platforms. So you can expect the first new content about 2.5 weeks after the release of Battlefield 6.
Season 1 will be divided into three phases and will last three months. Every month a new phase will start, bringing new content. This content is meant to expand the regular multiplayer as well as provide new tools for players in Portal.

Battlefield 6: Roadmap – Season 1 brings new maps, modes, and weapons
What exactly can you expect in Season 1 of Battlefield 6? The first phase of Season 1 is called “Rogue Ops” and will bring new maps, modes, vehicles, and attachments that will be available to all players for free.
On November 18, 2025, the second phase of Season 1 called “California Resistance” will begin. There will also be a new map, a new mode, and new weapons here.
The third phase will run from December 9, 2025. Here you will be able to play a limited-time event with a corresponding map and receive a new melee weapon.

Rogue Ops – October 28, 2025
- New map: Blackwell Fields
- offers space for ground and air vehicles
- New mode: Strikepoint
- A tactical 4v4 mode with multiple rounds and only one life per round; teams must capture an objective
- New vehicle: APC Traverser Mark 2
- Armored land vehicle for transporting personnel, provides 4 seats including a roof gunner

California Resistance – November 18, 2025
- New map: Eastwood
- offers space for ground vehicles and helicopters
- New mode: Sabotage
- 8v8 mode, where teams take turns attacking or defending. The goal is to detonate more objectives than the opponent while attacking.
- Return of battle pickups
- Battle pickups return. These are powerful weapons that you can find on the maps. In older Battlefield titles, there were grenade launchers, sniper rifles, or flamethrowers
- New weapons:
- DB-12 (Shotgun)
- M327 Trait (Secondary Weapon)
- New attachment: Troy Angled (new grip)
Winter Offensive – December 9, 2025
- Limited-time map: Ice Lock Empire State
- Limited-time event: Ice Lock
- The event revolves around a mechanic called “Freeze”, a new gameplay modifier.
- New melee weapon: Ice Climbing Axe
