In Battlefield 6 you can finally play Rush! Or can you? Where has the mode gone? EA has hidden it, but we will show you where.
What is this new mode? With the second beta of Battlefield 6, the mode “Rush” was added. In Rush, the two teams are divided into attackers and defenders. The attackers must capture and destroy certain sectors in sequence. The defenders must prevent this. The game is over when the attackers have used up all their tickets or when all sectors of the defenders have been destroyed.
After the introduction of Rush, the mode quickly received a lot of criticism from the community. The reduced number of players per team (12v12 instead of 32v32) and the small number of vehicles were an annoyance. The fact that the mode can only be played with open weapons was another.
Initially, you could simply start Rush through the menu. It was one of the modes prominently displayed on the home page. Now it is suddenly gone, or at least it seems that way. However, EA has only hidden it.
Where is Rush in the beta of Battlefield 6?
This is how you can find Rush: You can still play Rush, but you must select the mode through the personalized search. You can find this selection very far to the right in the game mode options, so you will need to navigate through the overview with the arrow.
With the personalized search, you can filter for matches that suit your interests. You can specifically select the maps and modes you want to play – for example, Rush. However, the search is only available for modes with open weapons, meaning where it is possible to play all weapons regardless of your classes.
