What is the timeline for the beta? The beta for Battlefield 6 takes place in several phases:
- Early Access – Closed Beta (Battlefield Labs member before July 31 or access through Twitch Drop)
- From August 7 10:00 AM CEST to August 8
- First Open Beta (no code required)
- From August 9 10:00 AM CEST to August 11 10:00 AM CEST
- Second Open Beta (no code required)
- From August 14 10:00 AM CEST to August 17 10:00 AM CEST
Is there a preload? Yes, you can download the beta anytime since August 4.
All info on participating in the Battlefield 6 beta
Do I have to register for the beta? Not necessarily. You only need an EA account and an account on the platform of your choice. However, if you want to participate in Early Access, there are three ways to do so.
On which platforms can I play the beta? The open beta for Battlefield is playable on:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC
- Steam
- Epic Games Store
- EA App
How could you participate in Early Access? To participate in Early Access, you had two options:
- You watched various streamers for about 30 minutes on August 7 and 8 and secured a code via Twitch Drop
- You registered at Battlefield Labs before July 31, 2025, then you do not need an access code
- You watched various content creator streams during the reveal on July 31, 2025, and received a code via Twitch Drop
System requirements during the beta
Your PC should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum PC requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage space: at least 55 GB
- Graphics settings: 1080p at 30 FPS, low settings
- Recommended PC requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6700-XT
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage space: at least 80 GB
- Graphics settings: Balanced: 1440p at 60 FPS (high settings) | Performance: 1080p at 80 FPS+ (low settings)
