Battlefield 6 is set to offer a wide range of weapons to eliminate your opponents, just like its predecessors. You can find out which firearms you can expect in our list here.
How many weapons are currently known? You can currently expect up to 15 weapons at the beta launch that DICE has developed for combat. These weapons include assault rifles, carbines, SMGs, and many more.
Each weapon has its advantages and disadvantages as well as differentiated damage values. It’s good to know what gear you’ll be sent into battle with. We now list all the weapons you can expect.
Assault Rifles
Assault rifles are known primarily for their ease of use. They can effectively eliminate enemies at medium to long distances with a sufficient magazine size. They fire steadily and with solid range.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVO-228 | 33 | 654 | 40 |
| B36A4 | 25 | 719 | 30 |
| M433 | 25 | 830 | 40 |
Carbines
Carbines follow the same rules as assault rifles, only that they are designed to be lighter in build. Their weight allows for more agility, enabling you to move better on the battlefield.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| M417 A2 | 33 | 654 | 20 |
| AK-205 | 20 | 720 | 30 |
| M4A1 | 25 | 900 | 40 |
SMGs/Submachine Guns
Submachine guns are one of the best options if you want to mow down your enemies in close combat. They have a high fire rate and a solid magazine size, but their recoil is difficult to control.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| SGX | 25 | 830 | 36 |
| PW7A2 | 16 | 947 | 30 |
LMGs/Machine Guns
LMGs or machine guns are characterized by their heavy weight and magazine size. Maneuvering with them is somewhat more challenging, but in the right hands, you can hold positions reliably and keep your enemies under fire for long periods. They are predominantly intended for long-range combat.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| KTS100 MK8 | 25 | 514 | 60 |
| L110 | 25 | 719 | 100 |
DMRs/Designated Marksman Rifles
The DMRs, also known as designated marksman rifles, are the smaller brothers of the sniper rifles. They operate similarly and are especially effective at long distances, but with their higher fire rate, they can also withstand heated engagements – though their damage is lower.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| M39 EMR | 42 | 257 | 20 |
| SVK-8.6 | 60 | 149 | 10 |
Sniper/Sniper Rifles
Sniper rifles are unmatched at long distances and can eliminate your enemies with massive damage from a single headshot. In the hands of a precise shooter, you stand no chance against a sniper – as long as they maintain their distance.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| M2010 ESR | 100 | 43 | 5 |
Shotguns
Unmatched in close combat – the shotgun. No high fire rate, but with its massive damage, one shot is enough to eliminate your enemies. It is lethal and especially effective in building combat.
| Name | Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| M87A1 | 160 | 94 | 8 |
Pistols
Pistols are your backup plan when you need to reload. The weapon switch is quick, and with their high fire rate, you leave your enemies no time to breathe.

| P18 | 25 | 399 | 17 |
