A video guide for the Battle Royale in Battlefield 5, Firestorm, has been leaked. In the gameplay, you can see features such as being able to continue shooting with your pistol after being shot down.
What has been leaked? A tutorial video of Firestorm has been circulating in the Battlefield 5 community since March 7. This is the Battle Royale mode of Battlefield 5, which is not yet available in the game.
While players are still waiting for the official announcement from the developers, the leaked video now provides deeper insights into the new game mode for the first time.
It includes modes for solo, duo, and squads. There are tanks and helicopters, and various rarity levels of weapons.
What does the video show?
- Firestorm offers registration options for solo, duo, and squad players
- It accommodates up to 64 players, who glide into the combat area with parachutes at the start of a round
- On the map, weapons can be found in various locations. They are categorized as common, rare, and epic
- Epic weapons have advantages such as reduced recoil, scopes, and extended magazines
- Ammunition must be searched for on the map – you can also share it with other players. Each type of weapon has its own kind of ammunition
- If you get “taken out”, you will lie on the ground in a bleed-out status. Allies can then revive you. While you are on the ground, you can continue shooting with your secondary weapon
- Players can “finish you off” when you are on the ground. Then no revival is possible
- You can crack safes to obtain special loot
- There are vehicles such as tanks, watercraft, and helicopters
- Special anti-vehicle weapons can quickly destroy vehicles
Are there class advantages in Firestorm? The video explains that there should be no class advantages in Firestorm.
When will Firestorm be released? A fixed release date is not yet known. However, there are already signs that it could happen soon:
