EA and DICE present another trailer for Battlefield 5. You can already take a look at the company and the new combat roles of the soldiers. What else does the video reveal?
The Company: In the trailer, DICE provides insight into the Company – a personal collection of soldiers, weapons, and vehicles that you will accumulate and customize over time in the game – visually and performance-wise. Each multiplayer faction will have its own Company with unique soldiers and vehicles that can be expanded in various ways.
4 Soldier Classes: There will still be four classes:
- Recon
- Support
- Assault
- Medic
More specialization options through combat roles: Each class can be further adjusted to individual play styles or specific situations – with combat roles. For example, the Recon can specialize as a sniper, a spotter, or in stealth. Each combat role has a unique loadout and unique abilities. Over time, access to additional combat roles will be granted.
Further fine-tuning through loadouts: Equipment loadouts will allow you to further tailor your soldiers to your play style.
Each soldier starts with a standard loadout for their respective class. However, the options available to you will expand over time through unlocks.
Using weapons in combat will unlock additional customization options such as barrels, stocks, and sights. This way, you have a direct influence on how your weapons look and perform in combat. You will also have extensive options to visually modify the weapons.
The same goes for vehicles and aircraft.
