As a member of EA Access, you can play Battlefield 1 before the official release. However, there is a time limit.
Even before Battlefield 1 releases on October 21 (October 18 with the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition), members of EA Access or Origin Access can jump into battle ahead of everyone else. Members of these services will have access to a Play First Trial starting on October 13. However, this trial is limited to 10 hours. Use this time wisely so you don’t waste too many hours while being “afk” in the main menu.
Maps and Game Modes in the Play First Trial
The Play First Trial of Battlefield 1 includes five different maps and four game modes that you can try during this time. The maps available are: St. Quentin Scar, Sinai Desert, Faw Fortress, and Suez. You can choose from the following game modes: Conquest, Rush, Operations, and Domination. We have presented the maps and game modes here so you can get a better picture of them.
But single-player fans were also considered in the Play First Trial. You have the opportunity to play the single-player campaign with the missions Steel Storm and Through Mud and Blood during the trial. If you purchase the full versions after the trial, your progress will carry over. If you play as a member of EA Access or Origin Access from October 13 to 20, you will receive an exclusive Trench Fighter dog tag. Another reward is available during the trial in connection with playtime: Those who fully utilize the 10 hours of playtime before October 20 can expect a Battlepack in the full version.
With the launch of the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition on October 18, the remaining maps of the game will be unlocked. If you want to try these out, it’s advisable to save some playtime. The regular release of Battlefield 1 is on October 21. After the beta was so successful, we expect a high player influx at release.
