In this vehicle list, you will find all the vehicles you can interact with in Battlefield 1.
Battlefield 1 offers you various alternatives for movement. For example, you can get into a tank or a car, ride a horse, or even fly over the map in airplanes. The selection of vehicles is large and covers many different play styles. In this overview of vehicle classes, we show you how many passengers can fit into the vehicles and what weapons are on board.
All Tanks in Battlefield 1
There are 4 different types of tanks in Battlefield 1. The light to heavy tanks are equipped with various weapons and crew positions.
- Heavy Tank (A7V) – Offers space for 1 driver and 3 to 5 team members. Depending on the configuration, you have additional machine guns or even flamethrowers on board besides the heavy cannon.
- Medium Tank / Landship (Mark 1) – As squad support, it has space for 1 driver and 4 gunners, with tank support having space for 1 driver and 2 gunners. As squad support, only one MG is available to you as a driver. As a tank hunter, you have an anti-tank gun on board.
- Light Tank (Renault FT) – Only the driver fits in this tank. You have 3 different weapons to choose from, ranging from a powerful cannon to a fast machine gun.
- Tank Car – Like the Light Tank, the Tank Car also only provides space for the driver. You can equip it with a cannon, a machine gun, or an anti-aircraft weapon.
Planes in Battlefield 1
As already mentioned, you can also participate in battles in Battlefield 1 from the air. The weapons vary according to the purpose of the airplane.
- Attack Plane – Offers space for 1 pilot and 1 gunner. The weapons are effective for ground support, against other planes, or against tanks, depending on the purpose.
- Bomber – This airplane has space for 1 pilot and 2 gunners. The weapons available are machine gun, firestorm, or torpedoes.
- Fighter – There is space here only for the pilot. You can choose weapons specifically for air combat, against other bombers, or in fights against trenches.
- Zeppelin – Space for 1 pilot and 5 gunners. The weapons include bombs and machine guns.
All Other Vehicle Classes and Means of Transport
On the various maps of Battlefield 1, you also have access to other means of transport and cannons.
- Land Vehicle – Space for 1 driver, 1 gunner, and 1 passenger. A machine gun is on board as a weapon.
- Stationary Cannon – Space for 1 gunner.
- Horse – Space for 1 rider.
- Motorboat – Offers space for 1 driver and 3 gunners. The available weapons are torpedoes, cannons, and machine guns.
- Motorcycle – Space for 1 driver and 1 passenger. No weapons on board.
- Armored Car – Here, 1 driver and 4 gunners fit. The available weapons are a heavy machine gun and 3 light machine guns.
Repairing Vehicles – From the Inside and Outside
If you spawn in a battle as a vehicle driver, you belong to the vehicle class: Either Pilot or Tank Driver. There is the option to repair a vehicle from the inside, but that is sometimes not the best solution. With automatic repairs, enemy fire interrupts the process. If you repair a vehicle from the outside, incoming shots do not interrupt the process.
