The Battlefield 1 update for June will be activated today and brings the new Nivelle Nights map into the game. There you will fight in the dark!
With maintenance on Tuesday morning (June 20), the servers will be updated to the June update of Battlefield 1. Around 3:00 PM German time, the maintenance will be over on all platforms, and players with a Premium Pass or They Shall Not Pass DLC will have access to the new night map “Nivelle Nights.”
Server Down on June 20 – Update
The developers announced yesterday that maintenance would take place today. The servers will not be accessible for two hours at the following times:
- PC multiplayer offline from 9:00 AM
- PS4 multiplayer offline from 11:00 AM
- Xbox multiplayer offline from 1:00 PM
Nivelle Nights Update
In today’s Battlefield 1 patch, the new Nivelle Nights map and additional features will be integrated into the game. The Nivelle Nights map is only available for players with a Premium Pass or They Shall Not Pass DLC. In the video, you will get a taste of the new night map:
By the time of Gamescom, the Premium Friends feature will be unlocked, so you can play this map even without a Premium Pass. We explain how the Premium Friends feature works here.
For all players, the Frontlines mode for Argonne Forest and Amiens will also be activated.
Nivelle Nights Patch Notes
The new Nivelle Nights update offers new features such as the Best Squad, refinements in weapons, and problem resolutions with vehicles.
- Best Squad: At the end of a match, the best squad of the game will be presented on a new screen.
- Weapons:
- The self-loading 1906 sniper scope is now surrounded by a blur effect when aiming.
- The Ribeyrolles has been enhanced with a single-shot feature.
- An exploit that allowed anti-tank mines to be attached to vehicles has been fixed.
- Vehicles:
- The issue of missing skin descriptions in the vehicle customization screen has been resolved.
