The contents of the new Battlefield 1 expansion “Turning Tides” will be released in two waves. What you can expect from it is shown here.
New information about the third Battlefield 1 expansion has been officially announced by the developers, along with their release concept.
To maintain a steady flow of new content, the contents of Turning Tides will be released in two waves. The waves are scheduled for December 2017 and January 2018 and will bring new maps, weapons, vehicles, and more to the game.

The Turning Tides DLC is now active for owners of a Premium Pass (or the Revolution Edition).
Turning Tides DLC with new maps, operations, and elite class
The third expansion of Battlefield 1 is called Turning Tides and promises exciting adventures with new content. The first new content was supposed to be available in December 2017 is now active. This includes new maps, 6 new shooting weapons, and 2 melee weapons, new specializations, a new vehicle, a new operation, and the new elite class “The Infiltrator”.
In January 2018, two more new maps and the British Royal Marines will follow. Owners of a Premium Pass will receive this content two weeks earlier. However, an exact release date for Turning Tides has not yet been established.
- December 2017 (Premium Pass)
- Achi Baba (Map): Here you participate in the British attack on the Gallipoli Peninsula. You can expect intense and fast battles designed for infantry combat.
- Cape Helles (Map): Storm the beaches of Gallipoli with British forces or defend the fortifications of the Ottoman Empire.
- Gallipoli (Operation): Defend or attack the sectors of the Cape Helles or Achi Baba maps in this epic new operation.
- 6 new shooting weapons: M1917 Trench Carbine, M1912/P.16 Submachine Gun, Farquhar-Hill, M1917 MG, Carcano M91 Carbine, and Type 38 Arisaka.
- 2 new melee weapons: The new Naval Cutlass and Grappling Hook.
- Game mode “Assault Capture”: In this mode, the attackers start with a point advantage. The defenders have all flags at the start but no headquarters.
- L-Class Destroyer: With this powerful destroyer and its cannons, torpedoes, anti-air weapons, and mines, you take on sea, air, and ground targets.
- Infiltrator Elite Class: The Infiltrator Kit allows you permanent sprint boost and the ability to call for artillery strikes. Additionally, you can call in mobile spawns for your allies.
- January 2018 (Premium Pass)
- Heligoland Bight (Map): Here you fight a naval battle with the British Royal Marines and the German Navy using dreadnoughts, destroyers, and aircraft. Meanwhile, infantry fights on the iconic red cliffs of Rocky Cove.
- Zeebrugge (Map): Take part in the British raid on the Belgian port of Bruges-Zeebrugge. Fight at sea, in the air, and in close infantry battles.
- Royal Marines (British Army): With the characteristic blue uniform of the British Navy, you can participate in future matches.
