The Turning Tides DLC for Battlefield 1 promises battles on land and in water. In December, it starts with two new maps.
The release of the Turning Tides expansion for Battlefield 1 will occur in two waves. This update will bring new content such as maps, operations, and weapons to the game. The developers have now announced the update plan.
Update December 12
The Turning Tides DLC is now active for owners of a Premium Pass (or the Revolution Edition).
1st Release Wave in December, New Operation and Maps
On December 11, the first wave of the Turning Tides DLC will start, bringing new content for Premium Pass owners. The update will unlock the two maps “Kap Helles” and “Achi Baba”.
Those who want can play the new operation on these maps and participate in the amphibious assault of the British on the Gallipoli Peninsula.
Here Are the 8 New Weapons in Battlefield 1 – Turning Tides
The expansion adds 6 weapons and 2 melee weapons to the arsenal:
- Weapons
- M1917 Trench Carbine,
- Submachine Gun M1912/P.16,
- Farquhar-Hill,
- M1917 MG,
- Carcano M91 Carbine, and
- Type 38 Arisaka
- Melee
- The new Naval Cutlass and
- Grappling Hook
With a destroyer of the L-class, you will dominate the sea. The vessel possesses torpedoes, cannons, and anti-aircraft weapons. This will put significant pressure on your enemies!
In January You Will Ride the North Sea Wave
The second release wave of Turning Tides will follow according to developers in January 2018. Your mission will then take place in the North Sea and on the unique maps “Zeebrugge” and “Helgoland Bight”.
Jump into battle there with the new Royal Marines or fly with the C-Class airship and fight the enemy from above.
Premium Pass owners receive two weeks of early access to Battlefield 1 “Turning Tides”. When this early access expires, the expansion pack will be available for purchase for all players.
