We show you how to get Scrap in Battlefield 1 and what you can use them for.
In Battlefield 1, there is the possibility to buy skins using the in-game currency. The currency is called Scrap (Auf Englisch Scrap). If you play regularly, you can quickly save up a lot of Scrap. You can then invest the Scrap in 3 different Battlepacks, which have different prices and contents.
Scrap in Battlefield 1
If you have already played Battlefield 1, you have surely seen at the end of a round that some players receive Battlepacks as gifts. These Battlepacks can contain skins, XP boosts, but also puzzle pieces for melee weapons. When you open a pack, you have the choice to either put the loot you received into your inventory or process it directly into Scrap.
If you don’t use certain weapons, have duplicate skins, or find the visual changes unattractive, you can process these into Scrap. Once you have collected enough Scrap, you can invest them back into a new Battlepack. This will contain a new skin and possibly more loot. Depending on which pack you choose, you will have to save for a corresponding amount of time. A standard Battlepack contains a guaranteed skin. You can then select and use these skins in the customization options.
