Battlefield 1 was probably the best shooter of 2016 and anyone who doesn’t know the online spectacle of World War I can try it out for free now. At least for one weekend.
Battlefield 1 captivated players and critics alike in 2016 and brought an untouched war era in the foreground with World War I. But even though Battlefield 1 was the best shooter game of 2016, there are still plenty of people who have never hunkered down with the MG in the virtual trench, galloped with a saber over grenade craters, or executed wild, screaming storm attacks on enemy positions with a bayonet.

If you would like to do all these things in a game now but have no money left, you’re in luck. Because from 3rd March at 2 PM to 6th March at 7 PM, you can download and play the World War spectacle for free on PC via Origin.
Xbox players can only join from 6 PM on Friday and play only until 5th March at 11:59 PM. Additionally, the total playtime over the weekend for PC players is limited to 10 hours. For Xbox players, the online service Xbox Live Gold is available for free during the trial phase, and there is no playtime limit.
All achievements during the free trial phase will be saved in case you want to buy the game afterwards. By the way, there is up to 60 percent discount in the EA online shop. The PC version includes four multiplayer modes, five maps, and the first two war stories from the solo campaign.
The Xbox version, on the other hand, is not limited. If you’re wondering what’s happening with PS4 players? Unfortunately, they are left out; this promotion is only valid for Xbox One and PC.
