Battlefield 1 is a game with a modern look that looks good on all platforms. However, upon closer inspection, differences become apparent. Especially in comparison to the PC version with ultra settings, there are differences compared to the console versions. But are these differences that significant? See for yourself.
Battlefield 1 graphic differences on Xbox One, PS4, and PC
When Battlefield 1 officially releases tomorrow, on October 21, it marks the start of a gaming weekend for many players on different platforms. In the past few days, players could already try the game via Early Access and test the various weapons and game modes. During this Early Access, some comparisons between the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions have already been made. In this video from Candyland, you can see the graphic differences of the 3 versions. The focus is on the different graphic options in detail. For the PC, the ultra graphic settings were selected.
In comparison, the Xbox One and PS4 versions are usually quite close to each other. In some settings, the PS4 has a good advantage over the Xbox One, partly due to the resolution of only 720p on the Xbox. The PS4 offers a resolution of 900p, which provides slightly more sharpness. However, the PC clearly has the upper hand in light and shadow effects. These differences really stand out when you see and compare the 3 images side by side. Whether they are decisive enough for you to prefer one version over the other is for you to decide.
