In Battlefield 1, a YouTuber recreated the reveal trailer using scenes from the cartoon series “SpongeBob SquarePants”.
The trailer for Battlefield 1 went viral last week and apparently struck a chord with many shooter fans with its “World War I” setting: Within just a few days, it became the most liked trailer on YouTube ever.
The YouTuber Jonathan Kane seems to join nearly 1.4 million others in celebrating the Battlefield trailer, having recreated it in the “Bikini Bottom” setting. He used suitable footage from the well-known SpongeBob series, overlaid it with the original sound from the Battlefield trailer, and shared it online for the enjoyment of many users.
Over 168,000 people have now watched this video, in which besides SpongeBob and Patrick, Mr. Krabs and eternal antagonist Plankton must not be missing. What do you think about it?
