On TikTok, the user linziclarkmusic has uploaded a clip that is now causing excitement. The video lasts about 5 minutes and shows gameplay that reminds some viewers of GTA. A character runs through an open, expansive city. The special thing about it: the unusual setting.

A Scottish gangster epic?
Where does the fan project take place? The prototype was developed by the TikTok user’s partner, and she uploaded the video on his behalf. In it, she explains that her boyfriend is from the Scottish town of Paisley, and therefore, he transformed this place into a game.
Who needs the sunny streets and beaches of the USA when it can be darker? In the Scottish town, it is night, dark, and the asphalt is wet from the rain. Here and there, small stores and pubs are visible, brightly lit bus stops and apartment blocks.
Just by watching this unfinished version, it is clear: a real game could have great atmospheric potential. It just needs appropriate gameplay modeled after GTA. Also, there are no pedestrians or cars visible in the video yet.
According to the TikTok user, her boyfriend developed the project in his spare time. He actually works as a graphic designer and doesn’t think much of his skills as a game developer. The viewers on TikTok see it quite differently.
How do viewers rate the video? In a short time, the clip has already garnered over 330,000 views and is generating excitement. Many players who comment under the video on TikTok want to try the game themselves.
