Baldur’s Gate 3: Patch 8 is now live – All info on content, subclasses and size

With Patch 8, Baldur’s Gate 3 receives its last major update. When it will be released and what to expect can be found here at MeinMMO.

When is the release of Patch 8? Patch 8 will be released on April 15, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. So, you won’t have to wait much longer to dive into the game with the new features across all platforms simultaneously.

The exact time is not yet known. We will keep an eye on this for you and update it as soon as there are news.

The patch is finally live, and you can look forward to the following contents:

• 2 completely new endings if you want to play particularly evil
• Photo mode with over 300 different tools for better screenshots
• Crossplay so you can play with your friends across all platforms. You will need a Larian account for this
• The Xbox version will have the option to play in local co-op with splitscreen

How big is the patch? The patch is about 3 GB on PC and consoles and can be downloaded now.
