What does he say? On Twitter/X, the English magazine PCGamer published an article about Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 and referred to the update as final major update

Did he say what new content is coming? No, he did not want to talk about that to protect his colleagues. In another post, he wrote that more content will come, but he would not reveal any of it. He writes on Twitter/X:
We will not talk about what is coming for the game because that puts too much pressure on the developers, but there are things we have said are still coming, and the cooks need to cook.
However, it is already known from the post about Patch 7 that a photo mode and crossplay will come. What else is planned has not yet been revealed by Larian.
Players eagerly awaited Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3
Why should Patch 7 be the last update? Swen Vincke, head of Larian Studios, explained in an interview that they want to bring one last major update with Patch 7. In doing so, they want to focus on fan requests and take care of a few bug fixes. In particular, the official mod support for Baldur’s Gate 3 is considered an important core theme.
But after this update, Vincke says they want to significantly reduce work on Baldur’s Gate 3: The main priority will then be fixing bugs, as the team wants to focus on working on new projects.
