How to get rid of your bloodied face
Especially as “Dark Urge” you will likely be running around permanently bloodied. Baldur’s Gate 3 offers 4 ways to clean your character’s face after it has been covered in blood, dirt, and bruises. All options, who would have thought, require water.
- Use a bottle of water: To clean yourself and your party members, simply throw a water bottle at your feet. You should probably have plenty of water bottles if you’ve been diligently looting everything. With a water bottle, you can also extinguish flames and cause the “wet” state for two rounds. This will make you resistant to fire damage but will incur double lightning damage.
- Run into a body of water: You just need to dip your toes into a body of water – for example, a river. There are numerous water sources in Baldur’s Gate 3, especially in Act 1 and Act 3.
- Spell “Create or Destroy Water”: You can use the spell/trick “Create or Destroy Water” to clean your party members. However, I wouldn’t prefer this method, as it wastes a level 1 spell slot.
- Find the reverse rain cloak: This cloak grants the wearer the “wet” state. So when you put on the cloak with your character, you will be instantly freed from all dirt. After that, you can switch the cloak again. You will find the cloak at the fairground at the beginning of Act 3, just spin the prize wheel.
These options free you from dirt, blood, and anything else that comes with it – without requiring a long rest. Because through a long rest, you will also become clean again.
