The PlayStation 5 is currently not running Baldur’s Gate 3 as expected, but there are already solutions for annoying crash issues.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a comprehensive game that occasionally struggles with issues. Some players complain that the game crashes or doesn’t load properly on the PS5. For instance, players encounter the error code CE-108255-1 when trying to load a save file.
Larian Studios is currently investigating reports of crashes in Baldur’s Gate 3 on the PS5 and has announced a temporary workaround while searching for a permanent solution.
Disconnect the PS5 from the internet and continue playing in offline mode

- To be able to play the game again without error messages, the developers say you only need to do one thing: disconnect the PS5 from the internet and play in offline mode. Crashes should then be a thing of the past.
Even if the game crashes constantly or doesn’t load properly, you don’t need to worry. Your progress is not lost. The problem seems to be related to the connection to the PlayStation Network.
Players who want to continue their campaign online with friends will have to wait for this temporary solution and wait for the final update. Larian Studios announced that they are already working on it.
