Red Dead Online started on November 27 in its first beta. All owners of an Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 can participate in this. The betas for the other versions will start over the weekend. Here are the times.
What time does the beta start? You can start with the multiplayer of Red Dead Online at 2:30 PM. However, this is limited access for players with an Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2.
When and what time can players without the Ultimate Edition enter the beta? Those who played Red Dead Redemption 2
- on release day: Wednesday, November 28 – 2:30 PM
- played on release weekend: Thursday, November 29 – 2:30 PM
- own: Friday, November 30 – 2:30 PM. This is the public beta for all players.
What else should be noted about the beta? Just like Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online is only available for PS4 and Xbox One. Whether and when there will ever be a PC version of Red Dead Online is unknown.

Can we expect issues with the beta? Yes. We expect that Red Dead Online will initially face typical launch difficulties of online games. We anticipate bugs, connection issues, and server overload. Of course, we hope everything goes as smoothly as possible!
