The MMORPG Ashes of Creation is one of the most successful online role-playing games funded through Kickstarter. But now the “backers” want to see something playable. That won’t take long.
Almost 3.3 million US dollars were raised by the developers during the first crowdfunding campaign. Currently, another campaign is taking place on the official website of the game. Ashes of Creation resonates with many players who are longing for a classic yet modern MMORPG that offers a lot of freedom.
Finally Playable!
Many videos have already been shown that made players eager to finally get hands-on experience. And that will be the case soon. On September 1, PAX Prime will take place in Seattle. There, Intrepid Studios will showcase the latest version of Ashes of Creation. But that is not the main reason why interested players should consider attending the event. Ashes of Creation will also be playable for the first time!
Character Creation, Combat, and More
Visitors will be able to create a character and undertake the first class-specific steps in the game world. This also includes fighting against monsters. This is intended to give a first impression of how Ashes of Creation will play.
Of course, this is a rather early version. The game’s release is not planned until the end of 2018. Nevertheless, a playable version represents an important first step towards launch and will surely satisfy the fans.
