In Armored Warfare , the new tier 10 tanks are announced. This is basically already science fiction.
In the Military MMO Armored Warfare there are RPG elements in the form of progression systems. You gradually level up your account, gather resources, invest points in tanks, and can unlock new ones. The further you progress, the more modern the tanks you can drive. The rule is: You have to upgrade the old model fully before you can move on to the successor.
While World of Tanks operates with tanks from World War II, in Armored Warfare, you start later, around the 50s. By tier 5 and 6, you are already driving somewhat “modern” vehicles, of which remnants are still used today or have been further developed over the years. You find yourself in one of the first Leopard tanks, and later you unlock one of the early Abrahams. Until now, tier 9 was the end of the most modern versions of the tanks.
Now the developers have announced that they are bringing tier 10. Problem: it doesn’t even exist in reality yet.
6 battle tanks with “Cutting Edge Technology”, basically already science fiction, are coming. They are focusing on more advanced versions of the current war machines.
- T-14 Armata (battle tank)
- PL-01 (light tank)
- Leopard 2A7-140 (battle tank)
- SPHINX (infantry fighting vehicle)
- XM1A3 (battle tank)
- Challenger 2B (battle tank)
Alongside the tier 10 tanks, the next update will also introduce two new PvE maps and further balance changes. An exact date for 0.15 has not yet been set; the developers promise more information as 0.15 approaches.
If it is even still on the way, maybe those things will have stealth or something.
